Community Skills Building & Training
Our Community Skills Building & Training Programs offer hands-on learning opportunities for youth, adults, and seniors to gain valuable skills for personal and professional growth. From computer and technology training to financial education, Smart Serve, and Food Handlers certification, these programs are designed to empower community members with the tools they need to thrive.
Arts, Culture & Heritage Programs & Events
Windsor Essex Caribbean Association’s Arts, Culture, and Heritage Programs and Events celebrate the vibrant traditions of the Caribbean through engaging programming for children, youth, and adults. From music, dance, and storytelling to visual arts and cultural celebrations, our offerings educate, entertain, and inspire—honouring our rich heritage while fostering creativity and community pride across generations.
Join us for our Thursday Social Program — a welcoming space for our Caribbean community to come together, socialize, build connections, and have fun! Enjoy exciting activities and classes including Caribbean-inspired dance, cooking sessions, Caribbean craft making, games, and so much more.
Whether you’re looking to learn something new, meet new friends, or simply enjoy great company, there’s something for everyone.
Light refreshments are provided at every session, and transportation accommodations or reimbursement are available for seniors.

SATURDAY JUNE 6th 2026 @ 10AM
Join us for an exciting Mas Making Workshop open to all ages! Discover the vibrant history, culture, and artistry behind Caribbean Carnival Mas costume making while creating your own colorful pieces. Participants will have the opportunity to see their costumes modelled at this year’s Carrousel of Nations - Caribbean Village celebration. All materials and supplies are provided, along with light refreshments. Come get creative, learn something new, and celebrate Caribbean culture with us!
THURSDAY JULY 9th 2026 @ 12:30PM
Spend a meaningful afternoon with seniors in our community during our Day at the Royal Marquis Retirement Home program. Join us as we connect through Caribbean-inspired arts, culture, music, and storytelling while sharing memories, laughter, and community spirit. Following the visit, participants will return to the Caribbean Centre for lunch and socializing. Come celebrate connection, culture, and companionship across generations.
