The Windsor Essex Caribbean Association (WECA), founded in response to racial discrimination, was established to unite and support the Caribbean community in Windsor through social connection, advocacy, and cultural preservation.
Today, WECA continues to celebrate Caribbean heritage, provide culturally relevant programs, and advocate for equity and inclusion locally and nationally. Guided by its mission and vision, WECA works toward a thriving, united Black and Caribbean community where cultural pride, empowerment, and equitable opportunities are accessible across generations.
